Former President of Tanzania, H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete delivered a special message from the President of Tanzania, H.E. Samia Suluhu Hassan, to the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Dr. Abiy Ahmed. This event took place at the State House in Addis Ababa on April 11, 2025. President Kikwete also conveyed President Samia’s greetings, which emphasized the importance of strengthening diplomatic relations between Tanzania and Ethiopia for the mutual benefit of both nations. He noted that the two countries share a historic relationship that was solidified during the establishment of the Organization of African Unity.
