The Minister of Finance, Hon. @mwigulunchemba (Mb), has participated in the opening ceremony of the High Level Meeting of the International Task Force for Controlling Illegal Money (The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Africa Joint Group), the session opened by the Prime Minister of the Union Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Kassim Majaliwa Majaliwa, in Kilimanjaro meeting hall of the Central Bank of Tanzania (BoT), in Dar es Salaam city.
Akizungumza wakati akimkaribisha Waziri Mkuu, Mhe. Kassim Majaliwa kuhutubia, Mhe. Dkt. Nchemba alisema kuwa Tanzania imeweka mifumo madhubuti ya kukabiliana na vitendo vya utakasishaji fedha haramu na udhibiti wa vitendo vya ufadhili wa ugaidi na kwamba iko tayari kushirikiana na Kikosi kazi hicho kinachoongozwa na Bi. Yonesha Sahye, ambacho kiko nchini kwa ajili ya kufanya tathimini ya nchi ilivyojipanga kukabiliana na vitendo hivyo vya utakasishaji fedha haramu, ufadhili wa ugaidi na udhibiti wa usambazaji wa silaha za maangamizi kwa viwango vya kimataifa.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister of State, Office of the President Finance and Planning Zanzibar, Hon. Dr. Saada Mkuya Salum, Hon. Innocent Bashungwa [Minister of Interior – JMT], Hon. Dr. Doroth Gwajima [Minister of Social, Gender, Women, and Special Groups Development], Eng. Zena Said [Secretary General Leader – SMZ], Secretary General Ministry of Finance, Dr. Natu El-maamry Mr. Eliakim Chacha Maswi (Secretary General Ministry of Constitution and Law), Mr. Emmanuel Tutuba [Governor of the Central Bank of Tanzania], Mrs. Sauda Msemo [Deputy Governor of the Central Bank and Chairman of the National Committee of Various Experts against of curbing illegal money] with Mr. Majaba Magana [Commissioner for the Control of Illegal Money] and other government leaders.
