World famous producer Irv Gotti has died at the age of 54. The cause of his death has not yet been revealed with initial reports saying last year he suffered a short-term paralysis and later recovered.
Irv Gotti whose real name is Irving Domingo Lorenzo Jr. was born in 1970 in the suburb of Queens, New York and in 1996 officially began his career as a music producer through Def Jam Records. In 1998 he and his brother Chris Irving co-founded Murder Inc. Records label which produced hit hits for artists such as What’s Luv – Fat Joe, Always On Time – Ja Rule, I’m Real – Jennifer Lopez, Gangsta Lovin – Eve feat Alicia Keys, New York – Ja Rule, Fat Joe & Jada Kiss and many more where over 30 million copies of the hits he produced have been sold to date.
