There is a tug of war between President William Ruto and retired president Uhuru Kenyatta regarding the interests of the retired president being ignored by the current government.

Retired president Kenyatta’s spokesperson Kanze Dena announced yesterday that Mr Kenyatta is using his own money to run his activities as a retired leader of the country, which is unconstitutional.
