As the days go by, the situation is getting worse for rapper Diddy and this comes immediately after Howard University in America recently announced the withdrawal of an honorary degree they awarded him in 2014. The decisions came immediately after the college’s board of trustees agreed.

Howard University reported that its board of trustees voted unanimously to reinstate the “Degree” they gave to rapper Diddy following the release of a 2016 video showing him assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. The college’s statement states that the action shown in the video is completely inconsistent with the college’s morals and beliefs and does not deserve the highest level of respect.

A board of trustees statement also noted that the college will suspend Diddy’s 2016 award agreement and cancel a sponsorship that was established in his name, reverse his ($1M) donation and cancel a 2023 pledge agreement with the Sean Combs Foundation against the college
