Police in Kenya are arresting a man who claims to be the main suspect in the murder of 42 women and throwing bodies, Kware dumping area in Embakasi, Nairobi.
The head of the Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) in Kenya, Mohammed Amin has today Monday July 15, 2024 said the suspect, known as Collins Jumaisi Khalusa, confessed to killing the women including his wife “Imelda”, between 2022 and July 11, 2024
Jumaisi has been arrested today, at 7 am in the search that took place in Kayole, Nairobi city after the officers followed him using his phone signal.
“It is a money transfer activity using the phone number of Josephine Owino (one of the victims) that helped investigators track down the suspect and arrest him,” Amin said.
Officers who managed to arrest the suspect said he lives about 500 metres from Kware dumping site- mines abandoned and about eight bodies of women were found decomposed.
